Kladno, railway close to Barré coal mine

Industrial history of Kladno ("Logan") gave birth to many different railways, many of them already abandoned by this time, which may be considered to be alternative pathways through the city. The track close to former Barré mine continued to Tuhaň ("Stiffing"), Třebichovice and through the valley of Knovíz brook to Zvoleněves. Sidings from mines Kladno and Theodor, mine Mayrau and mine Jan by Libušín were connected to it. It's segment close to Švermov ("Švermaville") and Motyčín ("Mattockton") can be walked with ease and represents a neat alternative to nearby high-traffic asphalt road. Except that we almost broke into Vinařice ("Wineton") state prison when we were finding our way through dense bushes on the railway siding.
