A canteen

An Austrian canteen leans against a wall of a cavern hidden in a sink hole. The Great war in more a part of the history than anything else today, but still remains closer to us than we should expect. That, what seems to have been an attempt to rearranage the old world, was actually it's definitive conclusion. But participants of this war still remain close to us, they were ur grand-grandfathers for that matter. Those, who survived.  World consisting of trenches, caverns, provisory military buildings and cemetries stretching from Kobarid to Trieste is an inexorably logical counterpart to worn-out monuments with lines of names on Central-European village greens.
