Soča and the bridge of Solkan
There is a railway bridge built between 1904 and 1905 on the edge of Solkan. It's stone arch has the longest span among all world's railway bridges of this construction. Cold and wild Soča (Isonzo) flows under it, it's waters having a characteristic green color caused by limestones in it's catch basin.
