Hoarsotne by small sandstone quarries on the verge of Bohemian Karst

Diverse landscape of Bohemian Karst changes slowly to flat plains of Prague Table Land on it's northeastern edge. Primary limestones are being covered by remains of Secondary sandstones, which grow more important as we head north and northeast. In 1923, someone was mining sand on one of these islands of bordering Peruc sandstones and left a forest full of grown-over pits and little quarries including this hoarstone after himself.
