Escarpment of viereckschanze at Osov

Viereckschanzes, or a four-corner fortifications, are an interesting kind of celtic monuments from 2nd.-1st. century BC. They were probably places of cult or protected courts, maybe both. One of them lies between Brdy hills and Bohemian Karst by a tiny train station of local railway. Ramparts covered by trees enclose a rectangle meadow, where a shallow pit, maybe a remain of sacrifice shaft, was noticeable before a time.
