Harghita belongs to volcanic part of Carpathians and expresses it on many places. As for mineral water springs, both former craters and exploited sulphurous light sediments may be also found there too. This stripping at Sintimoru Bai was already abandoned and it was possible to find remains of an old adit on it's bottom. There is also a source of volcanic gases nearby with a small spa house, used for some kind of breathing therapy.
