Klopačka

A "klopačka" (mining time-signalling tower) stays by a small museum close to Liptovská Maša. Miners were summoned to work by wooden "klopadlo", but it has also announced other important events. The tower looks like a church one from the distance, but nearby scale building, mining carts and ever-present mining symbols notify of it's real function.
