One of the salt mine chambers was once about 50 meters high, but today it has only 36 meters. Mining began aroud 1850s at this place, during WW2 aircraft parts were supposed to be manufactured there. It is possible to get to the top using a lift, but a net preventing tourists falling to the very bottom blocks the view a bit.
