MRU, Panzerwerk 772

Międzyrzecki Rejon Umocniony ("Międzyrzeczy Fortification Region"), as is this belt of former German fortification from 1930s and 1940s between Odra and Warta rivers called, is well-known because of it's preserved underground. But the underground itself is just a part of the whole complex and was bulit only in the central section of the line. There is much more than the connected fort system: various terrain obstructions, waterworks, remains of construction railways and workcamps and solitary bunkers. Depicted Panzerwerk 772 is located close to main entrance to the underground, which it guarded, but is not connected to it by a passageway.
