In the canyon of Aude river

River Aude passes a wild limestone canyon in the southern vicinity of Ginoles. There is a non-operative railway track with many tunnels and even some large caves may be found there. A donkey pathway, cut in the stone with remarkable effort at some places, used to lead through the valley. There is a road today, which fits quite well in the landscape, but the traffic turns walking there in a bit uncomfortable time. But climbers and waterborne tourists seem to enjoy it there.
