It is now possible to walk outside without a jacket and sleep in forest, only ground-level frost comes sometimes. Tracks of evening rail station shine and the only thing that remains is to board a train and begin a journey. To the east, to Prague, Žďár ("Burnt Clearance") hill by Rokycany, to forests close to Křivoklát ("Crooklog") castle, with change of a train at Zdice ("Walling") to Brdy hills, to white rocks of the Karst. To the north to undiscovered woods of Manětín county and long valley of Střela ("Missile") or even somewhere by Ohře (Eger). To the west, by Mže ("Myst") river to places of old camps and long wanderings through Český les ("Czech Forest"). To the south, where sharp foothills of Šumava (Bohemian Forest) begin after Přeštice, by the water castle Švihov ("Flicker"), on whose far side flows the summer river Otava ("Rowen").
