Entrance through haulage drift to Kobyla quarry

Kobyla ("Mare") quarry is located at end of one branch of former "K.B.K." narrow-gauge track. One of marked paths enters it via former haul drift. Last researches of Jaroslav Petrbok, remembered by a tablet, took place here and the quarry is, like other quarries of Český kras ("Bohemian karst"), geologically, botanically, paleonotlogically and in many other ways important place. But most important was it for a lone man, whose writings have I found in visitor's book and who came to commit suicide here, but atmosphere of the place impressed him so he did not end his life.
