Escarpments of an Upper Bronze Age hillfort at Malá babka by Řevnice

Upper and Later Bronze Age belong to prehistoric periods known for hillfort construction. Fortificated sites should have been hideouts, centers of administration and trade and also places of cult. Hillfot at Malá Babka ("Little Granny"), also called "Pišťák ("Whistler"), is a minor one, but a large part of Český kras ("Bohemian Karst") - from Řevnice ("Roarton") to Plešivec ("Drawn hill") may be watched from here. Old hikers use to walk throught oak forest, over a quartzite ridge half-eaten by small old quarries, to remember dead friends.
