Černá at plains of Krušné hory

Today's silent peace of Krušné hory ("Ore Mountains") plains by river Černá ("Black"), when only functional human constructions are rough and narrow roads, may remind of cold and bare lands of Northern Europe. But there were once many cobalt mills, old adit cuttings are hidden in slopes and there is a deep and narrow postmedieval stope nearby. Various spirits sleep at holey Krušné hory, both underground and between tree trunks and grass stalks.
