Babka, 506 m.

Once upon a time, our club set off to Brdy hills and after ascending on rocky qurtzite ridge of Babka ("Granny"), we began to find a place for night in direction of Skalka ("Small rock"). But we probably strayed from the marked path, maybe the compass and map also contributed to that situation. After many hours of wandering, we finally crawled up over a steep slope to a really majestic abri which provided a hideout for the entire group. Next morning, some of us climbed up on the abri rock to breakfast there and suddenly discovered a small touristic marking table with inscription "Babka, 506 m.". The Babka Triangle is still operational, many people, who walk there to find a nearby quartzite cave mistake it for this old quarry abri. But there is enough space even for strayed crowds.
